Forklift Electrical Part

Forklift Electrical Parts - Forklifts together with different forklifts could have particular labels used in certain hazardous locations. The mark denotes that this specific model of lift truck meets the minimum standards of ANSI/UL 553 used for electric forklifts or ANSI/UL 558 meant for internal combustion engine forklifts.

The use for labels for lift forklifts may be found in National Fire Protection Association NFPA 505 - Powered Industrial lift trucks including: Type Designations, Areas of Use, and Maintenance and Operation. Consult your local insurance carrier and Fire Marshall for additional information on the approved uses of industrial powered forklifts in your application.

If the forklift has been found to meet the outlined standards, the following labels may be placed. A labeled truck will have the type designation put on the lift truck nameplate and will have one of the following labels placed.
